Merry Christmas everyone!   You can now download my record for free this week if you haven’t had a chance to pick it up yet.  I recorded this at my home and my friend Simon mixed it, so I’m happy to share something so close to my heart.   Just click the link, and I believe you’ll just need to enter your email address and zip code then it’s yours.  All I ask is that you tell at least one person about it, or even share that it’s free this week!   Thanks again for your support over the past year, I’m excited for 2013 and should have a release ready for you by the end of the winter.   Love you guys,

-Ben

Wanted to share a song this morning, this one’s called I Know What You Would Choose. If you haven’t had a chance to check out Winter in Granada, Please do! It’s free to listen to on Spotify or for cheap you can buy it from Amazon.com.
Have a nice day everyone!

Only a week away from Christmas.  It’s hard to believe that another year has come and gone.. A lot of growth and changes in the past year.  So many things to be thankful for here, and I hope you are able to say the same.   Thanks for all of your support and kind words throughout this past year.   I happily was able to release my first record of this new season of my life back in August.   Thanks for everyone that has checked it out, kept in touch even after we have stopped our steady touring, and just for liking or checking out updates.   I really appreciate it.   Please don’t be shy, pass this video along, and know that I’m starting to mix the next record already.   I’ll be sharing more soon, but for now enjoy this video and I hope you’ll get plenty of time with your families and friends.  I love you guys.

Happy Holidays everyone.  This is always one of my favorite times of year to slow down and enjoy time with family and friends.   I spent last evening with Sondra recording a Christmas song to share with you all.   Hope to post it later, hope you will check it out!    I’ve been working on a lot of new music and video content to share as well.   Thanks for checking it all out, so thankful to have so many wonderful friends.  Love you all.

Good morning!  Excited to have some more time this weekend to work on the Winnemucca recordings.  These are a batch of songs that were written in late 2009 while my band, The Status were on tour and broke down between Reno, Nevada and Salt Lake City, Utah.  Some of my favorite compositions came from this time of desolation.  Nothing to do, nowhere to go, no money in the bank.   Just the wide open desert.  So destitute, and yet so liberating.
